Wiki is our primary search about anything that we get interested. The other way, to get involved with wiki is reading, writing, editing or adding own experience on it. All these multi experiences give readers chance to verify their own knowledge and allow putting their opinion on wiki. So, involvement is the key that make wiki popular. At the same time, this involvement makes people responsible as well, just not to write improper way or to lie. The good thing is; there are special regional editors that always try to look over the wiki documents. However, there is no cent percent guarantee of its purity. That is why we all know that it is not a good idea to use wiki as resources of any documentation. There is another good reason for that is nobody checking those entire documentations timely manner. But life, history and everything are changing with time. For example, today’s Manhattan city did not look like ten years ago nor would be after ten years. So, if somebody wrote about it ten yeas ago, it is not going to be look like today’s Manhattan. At the same time it is impossible to review all data in wiki systematically. It is just huge.

To write or editing, you need to log in to wikipedia or register an account. Wiki encourage you to submit reference sources about your articles. So, you can create the page including your references. Wiki page works as like any other blog page but it has more flexibility for group. For example, you are four members in your group and you are making a web blog together or planning to go vacation together. The first case for web blog you all four members can have access on the same blog and you all can put raw materials or suggestions and ask or direct someone what to do next in order to create a easy, faster and comparatively better web blog. Not only that, by working with this process, you do not have to see or talk each other. You can join that page any time you want to. Because, it is possible to put directions on the same blog any time and you all have the access on it, you do not need to maintain a specific time to meet your other fellows on web. The second case for vacation, you all can share your opinion, experience, plans or split duties and update everyone together or just ask their opinions. Is it not cool? And you know involvement is the key that makes everyone feel good and every one of your group would be the same page, same time.

               There fore we can say, wiki is about involvement and sharing that make everyone part of it. Wiki slogan should be: wiki is sharing and sharing is caring.             

Since it is a visual encyclopedia of different time, manner, taste, social, economical, political, environmental or religious integrities of human or biological history of this continent, it can be consider as a visual library of our world history.

            By typing You Tube on any search place of web you can get in You Tube site home page where it says broadcast yourself in stead of saying welcoming message like other usual sites. However, we feel very much welcomed because of its contents.

On the top of the site categories videos based on resources like: home, video, channels and community and than it categories again based on judgment like featured, rising videos, most discussed, most viewed, top favorited and more. Right after that, it categories again based on time period like today, this week, this month, and all time. Once again it categories items on the left hand site on the template: subjectwise when there are some popular grade video links (by whom?) on the main page. It likes more what is you see, what is you get. It is different than systematically research or marketing web page that makes it more around the world. That is why when I need to find something, I just type interested subject or topic on the search bar and click search. Otherwise you just may lost from your necessary interest to some where else, because we are always curious.

        Google’s new speech recognition iphone is something really interesting and has a great impact in future. This phone can recognize your voice and can query for you anything, anywhere. You do not need to type anything like blackberry. In stead of typing, you just make voice that you interested about. Right a way your iphone answers you by researching billions of data from Google search engine. This application is like phone operator that help you when you call many different offices but much more efficient with the knowledge of Google database. Top of that, you do not need to worry about typing when you are traveling or shopping unknown places with a bunch of luckages or packages. You just need to ask your iphone like where is the nearest train station or hotel or specific grocery to buy. How cool!

          The funny or tragedy of this phone is understanding your accent. If it does not get your   right approach because of any kind of noise or accent or similar sound, it would answer you wrong. But you assume that it answers right and by following its direction you might have problems as well. For example, you asked for nearest prison but it gets you like nearest verizon: you understand the differences. So it is important that you understand as a user how to use and verify your enquiries based on importance. There fore, the may loose valuable customers. But if you use Google iphone, Google search engine gives only specific information that secures their business with you.

          Senior director for consumer service, Dariusz Paczuski said. “You want to be able to interact with your phone just like you would with your mom or friends, voice is a great interface and it can simplify interactions more than anything.” Darius Paczuski’s idea is great but still thinking, may be Google iphone will kill our social values and interactions with people like Google earth mapping. Some day we might not need anybody except iphone to exchange our emotions.

Now because of that, sometimes we have to afford research specialists. Another, important change that web brought to us that our generation’s lifestyle. Such as Face book, my space, Bolger, WordPress and many other web base services that make people closer but sometime makes us like marketing products. According to the huge development of the bandwidth, cabling, processors, scripting languages and applications web gives us flexibility in order to use one or more multiple options at a time. On the other hand, by using web for silly purposes like web cams or You Tube kind of threat or disruption for our social values. However, today’s web development with the help of the HTML, Adobe Flash, WPA, CSS and quick web browsing made a promising web future for our web technology.     

 

     I like the author Poornima Padmanabhan’s clear statement, “Virtual worlds present a unique set of opportunities and challenges for technical communicators because they differ from other online text-and multimedia-based information interfaces in terms of how users seek and experience information”. Like many other supports, one of the most impressive for technical communicators is making extra space (virtually) that can provide services easily than real life. For example, storage: files and documentations can be stored in virtual worlds, tight schedule for conference room; possible to make it virtually, professor who can not meet students in class because of emergency can also meet students virtually, or professor who teach students online they can teach and train their students by the help of the virtual worlds. Moreover, beside technical communicators we general people could also arrange decent get together virtually, no matter how far we are from each other.

       On the other hand, as author says interfaces in terms of how user seek ; yes some of users or admins can create interfaces for virtual entertainments to sale other users in order to make ease money. In other word may be corporate technical communicators develop this virtual world to establish a business where is less competition but more profit. May be politician and corporate technical communicators together develop virtual worlds to make people busy or diver young generation’s mind from real life of advancement or, may be rich countries want to make business with comparatively in advanced countries. “Uno Laptop Por Nino” Could be the good example. These are all possible facts beside the opportunities of technical communicators.

        For me the most exiting novelty of virtual worlds is to do what you can not do in real life. However, beside great supports of technical communicators virtual worlds can drive us three points as below: 1. since virtual worlds can satisfy all human desires; there would not be any frustration (?) in real life, 2. we, people get so much depended on virtual worlds to get rid of our unsuccessful lives that we might not accept real world anymore and 3. we are human being; we might get bored easily as we are excited about the virtual worlds than real one.  

I am thinking to create a virtual web-log. The amazing thing is that it brings you at my virtual home courtyard. Now the Global Warming is one of the most privileged issues for us and the world’s millennium goal is to ensure environmental sustainability. However, to serve the reimagining real world we need to generate huge power that can destroy our world.

“Second Earth” I really lost my interest from my virtual web-log or “Second Life”. I want to enjoy my real and only life.         

     “Una Laptop Por Nino” the technological review by David Talbot drew significant challenges that appeared in term of Peru’s new educational system vs. socioeconomic system in Peru. The ratio of this challenge is logically proportional that author mentioned it “philanthropic effort”. This vulnerable project can turn out as an economical disaster for Peru when three year child in Peru has to work or help their parents to make money in stead of enjoying their childhood or learn alphabetical order. The economical crisis of Peru is so deep that additional “Una Laptop Por Nino” will make the situation more vulnerable when children will look for to feed themselves without using all these expensive laptops. The description of “Una Laptop Por Nino” is a close verification of the author David Talbot whi is the Technology Review’s Chief Correspondent is nothing but a reminder that this project is a jump dream like watching and analyzing thing from the Negroponte’s MIT campus office with a view of Boston skyline.

      “The first hour of the drive from central Lima is a tour of sprawl and poverty” By reading this line from the review named “Uno Laptop Por Nino” it is petty much clear about the Peru’s economical crisis. Since Peru does not have enough resources to build own company it needs to build the economical sustainability with fundamental country wide economical growth plan; it could be farm based, agricultural based or technical based depands on production and resources. At the same time Peru’s education system should be in balanced manner; based on their economical progress. Even impossible but hypothetically this project is being successful, how Peruvian Government would create

new job placements for all technologically educated man powers when Peru does not have technologically developed corporations. Therefore, those man powers would look for the opportunities to immigrate developed countries. Sound good: getting education by spending money of Peruvian Government they will come to another country to serve just because of Government fails to govern country with proper balanced plans.

        Arahuay is relatively handy to Lima and battered busses make two trips daily. This town has internet connection. The Primary institution in Arahuay named “The Institucion Educativa Apostol Santiago” is a clean swept, U-shaped concrete-block school where study 46 students only: 8 in first and second grades, 21 in third and forth grades, 17 in the fifth and sixth grades. By the way, town has a secondary school, but many children drop out. If this is the better shape of facilities of Peru’s primary education, I believe it is now the burning question for Peru to help Peruvians to be financially independent to send their children school before taking initiative of this project. In general hungry families are not interested to send their children school in stead of making money to bring a little solvency for their families. In that case these laptops are nothing but expensive show pieces for those families. On the other hand, if there are some governmental supports like small loans to start small business or to buy agricultural machineries, or to buy instruments for making handicrafts. We understand it is hard to diminish poverty wright a way but when most of the families at least would have food and necessary health supports for the children, they would truly enjoy their laptops and finally Peruvian will be encouraged to send their children school to build their nation.
